In Transit

In Transit inquires the reality of public spaces, constructed to be utilized by people during their commute. On their way from one place to another. In between. Transitory by nature, these spaces are often overlooked by the myriad of people passing through them. However, once put out of use or out of context, they become silent reminders of the lives that have run through them. By focusing on seemingly mundane details, the images created are a survey of shape and light. They are also a metaphor for the isolation and detachment one may experience while in transit.
